It is the policy of Parkview Apartments to provide reasonable accommodation so that our residents have access to the facilities located at Parkview Apartments.

Parkview Apartments was built in 1988 to the then current California Title 24 regulations. All downstairs 1 and 2 bedroom apartments include the following features designed to assist residents with special mobility or access needs:

	All hinged doors to rooms are 3'0" wide.
	Entry doors have lever action hardware.
	Entry hardware is positioned to allow a person in a wheelchair to open the entry door from their wheelchair.
	Bathroom lavatories are open under the counter to allow a person using a wheelchair to access the lavatory.

The Parkview Apartments site has the following additional features to assist persons with mobility issues:

	Walkways are designed so that a person using a wheelchair can access all buildings.
	A handicapped parking space that is van accessible is provided in the parking lot.
	Proper signage is provided so that improperly parked vehicles can be removed from the handicapped parking space.
	The swimming pool is equipped with a personal lift access point to allow a person who is mobility challenged to have access. If you have need to use this device, please see your manager who will arrange for the Hoyer lift to be delivered for your use.
	The spa is equipped with a personal lift access point to allow a person who is mobility challenged to have access. If you have need to use this device, please see your manager who will arrange for the Hoyer lift to be delivered for your use.
	Two accessible bathrooms are provided for resident use within the Resident Activity Center.
	The clubhouse is accessible.
	The clubhouse sink area and food prep area is accessible.
	All exit gates have panic bars to provide a safe means of egress to residents in wheelchairs.
	ADA compliant signage is provided throughout the Resident Activity Center

Additionally, it is the policy of Parkview Apartments that the following accommodations will be made on request:

	Grab rails will be installed inside the tub enclosure and toilet of one bathroom within an apartment on request.
	Lever action hardware will be provided on any rooms a resident requires access to within a rented premises.
	Fan control will be installed to facilitate fan operation from a wall switch location.
	Other reasonable accommodations will be made based on need after an interview with the resident and the determination of the reasonableness of the request.
	The safety of the resident with a need for access and the safety of other residents will be a primary consideration with respect to any accomodation.

We want all our residents to be able to enjoy the premises and common areas to the maximum extent possible, so if you have special needs, please see your manager so that we can work with you to help you enjoy your experience at Parkview Apartments as much as possible!
